Watch this tattoo, because it is going...
Just had my first laser treatment to remove my tattoo. I was expecting some serious pain but to be honest it wasn't that bad. Another treatment in two months and hopefully it will slowly fade over the next year or so.

Why do you want it removed??
Good question. And how painful is the removal?
When I was 17 I wanted a tattoo but the federation of swedish proffesional tattoo artist did not allow anyone under 18 get a tatto. Smart choice in my opinion. Anyhow, I did not like being told what I could and couldn't do so I found an "artist" which was prepared to give me a tattoo. An hour later I had a pretty average snake tattooed on my shoulder. Once I turned 18 I decided to cover it up with the pattern you see on the photo. At this time laser was not very good and really costly. Don't get me wrong, I think the tattoo is ok... but not good enough to stay. When Dr Vernon Pua in Sydney told me I could do laser treatments I thought, why not? The laser technology has come a long way and I have seen other people slowly fade away with great result. I think tattoo's can be a nice look but being a "clean-skin" is better in my opinion. Each to their own right? Did it hurt? It is not a pleasant feeling but not worse that you can keep an conversation meanwhile the doctor does his job. Similar pain as getting the tattoo in the first place. Took about 20 min.
Andreas,
Are you removing your tatoo because of personal reasons (i.e, it is not good enough or you are tired of it) or for professional reasons (i.e., your modeling career)? Will you be getting another more interesting tatoo somewhere else or are you finished with tatoos? I rather liked yours since I thought it unique and the tatoo made it easy to find you in modeling shots that did not show your face. I personally do not have a tatoo, nor would I consider it an option.
I don't mind tattoo's. I actually like them but I decided I did not like my one and can't see myself getting another one in the near future. I am doing this for personal reasons even if it would be better for my modeling as well. (If they want a tattoo in the shoot they can always add it) Removing it in the other hand can be hard.
I noticed that aussieBum had removed your tattoo from some of pictures in the new League images (which by the way was an awesome shoot).
i noticed that you are not that active anymore in ausiebum,, are you busy for something? where else do you do modelling asise from aussiebum?
Andreas,
How is the removal of your tatoo coming along? Disappearing? Not too painful, I hope.
